We were founded and incorporated in early 2018. Our mission is to help sexually assaulted athletes continue to pursue their athletic aspirations after being assaulted. We are dedicated to educating our communities and enabling survivors to pursue their athletic aspirations after being assaulted. Thriving Not Surviving is managed by a seven-member board comprised of individuals with a diverse range of knowledge and expertise. Thriving Not Surviving was founded by a sexually assaulted teenage athlete who found herself on the road to thriving after her own assault through athletics. Thriving Not Surviving is determined to help other survivors and educate youth and adults alike regarding the culture surrounding sexual assault.
